Why Membership?

The Connectional Lay Council is a member-based organization. Therefore, membership is important to us! After all, membership is the heartbeat of this organization – without a viable membership, our mission to “prepare and equip laity for life discipleship in the Kingdom of God by maintaining effective ministries that evangelize, encourage and edify the laity” may go in vain.

It is time for our membership mission to elevate to higher levels. Maintaining a "status quo" level will no longer be enough!

It is critical that we fulfill every aspect of our mission to:

Prepare laity for a life of discipleship;
Equip laity for a life of discipleship, and
Maintain effective ministries that Evangelize, Encourage, and Edify the Laity

Expand our base from 42,000 to 250,000 members by 2029 through strategic outreach and engagement.

Automating the Membership Dues Payment Process

Implement a streamlined and efficient dues payment system to enhance financial sustainability and accessibility.

Developing Our Membership Base

Empower and support our local church Lay Councils by providing training, leadership opportunities, and spiritual growth programs to strengthen all their Lay Councils thereby strengthening our districts, conferences and Connectional Lay Council as a result.

Outreach to All Age Generations & Regions Around the World

Foster inclusive connections across geographic locations and age groups to build a more vibrant community.
Engaging youth, young adults, and seniors in Lay Council activities
Strengthening local, national, and international connections

Create a Value Proposition to motivate members to become Life Members using group discount strategies.

Conduct a 360-Degree Evaluation for Ongoing Improvement
